A Pity Self Distribution Fundraiser

A Pity is our first film and the making has been a dream come true and a massive learning experience. It has always been a cinematic mission statement of a sorts; a dramatic a film with complex themes, shot on film, on location, in long takes, with no creative compromises, like so many of the films we love, and in that sense it is a tremendous success. It’s an independent film in the truest sense, made over years in bits and pieces, in between jobs, often with the help of friends and family. We couldn’t be more proud of the finished product, after a long festival run, we look forward to getting it out to a wider audience. It’s that same uncompromising, independent spirit that has led us to the decision to self distribute the film, which requires some additional financing, notably for music rights (which are EXPENSIVE) for a few songs throughout the film. We couldn’t have gotten here without our friends and family, and look forward to sharing the film with the world soon.
