A Plaque in memory of A4 flyover man (John Dwyer)
Im a local girl from Brentford and I remember this man all throughout my childhood. This
man has lived under the A4 flyover for over 40years, this was his home. The story is that his wife and daughter died in a crash on the
roundabout thats why he stayed there and
didn't want to leave. Im sure I know there will be people all over london that will remember
going past his corner, nestled in between both sides of the A4 near Chiswick roundabout.
I thought it would be a nice thing that
everyone who had a memory. If living locally,
or just driving passed could donate. Any
amount big or small towards this fundraiser so we could
buy a plaque to put on the wall where hishome was.
I’m asking for £1000 to cover the plaque and possibly any costs that the council would put on top. Anything that is left will be donated to a homeless charity.
I feel in this time of sadness and uncertain
time this would be a lovely thing to do.
Thanks again Georgina Murphy was (Georgina Eales)
