I am Solomon Zawe, a proud son of Zimbabwean soil, now based in Kamloops, BC, Canada. Our mission is simple but powerful: to change the narrative and uplift 6,000 individuals who need help, hope, and support. As a firm believer in Jesus Christ, my heart's desire is to bring comfort to children, the homeless, and those facing difficult times. We've all faced hardships at some point, and now, it's time to extend a hand to those who need it most.
I’m calling on all those who can help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. Zimbabwe's economic crisis is taking a heavy toll, and this is not a political cause—it’s a call to action, a plea for unity and love. Together, we can make a difference. We are all in this together, and God’s provision comes in many forms. Here’s your opportunity to be part of something greater than ourselves.
Growing up, I was blessed with food on my table, and now I want to extend that blessing to others. When we have hope, we find purpose, and when we live with purpose, we help others. I’ve worked hard throughout my life, but I can’t change the world alone—that’s why I need YOU. Together, we can bring about real change.
The goal is to feed 6,000 individuals, focusing on communities most affected by poverty and hunger. We want to ensure that if anyone is hungry, they will receive a meal. To accomplish this, we need $5 USD per person, totaling $30,000 USD, which is converted to 43,000 CAD. This amount will provide a cooked breakfast, lunch, or dinner for each person.
Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated—every dollar helps us feed more people in need! We’ll also organize morning drives to distribute tea and bread to those out in the cold. The cooked meals will be rounded to $1 USD each.
$5 per meal may seem like a lot, but in Zimbabwe, many people are going without food or are eating very little. Some children suffer from food deficiencies, and many people are struggling just to survive. While this meal is a temporary fix, it’s part of a larger effort to help those in need.
The remaining $4 per person will go toward purchasing small to medium-sized food packages, including essential items like maize meal, sugar, salt, cooking oil, beans, and cabbage. Each package will ideally contain:
5kg of maize meal
1kg of salt
1kg of sugar
1kg of beans
1 litre of cooking oil
1 whole cabbage
The aim is to feed 6,000 people with a ready meal and provide 3,000 with food packages to sustain them for a while. Additionally, we aim to support 500 kids with school fees and meals throughout a school term. The educational progress of these 500 kids will be tracked, ensuring that they are receiving the support they need to succeed and thrive in their studies.
We are specifically focusing on orphans and children in children’s homes. Many of these children have been left without support, and education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Your donations will ensure that these children have access to school fees and meals, allowing them a brighter future.
By helping orphans and vulnerable children with school fees and meals, you are giving them the chance they deserve to build a better life for themselves.
Every little bit helps! Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
