Help a pregnant Gazan woman survive

Assalamu Alaikom,

I am Yasmeen Shaban and I live in Illinois. I hope my message finds you well.

My Arabic tutor was born and raised in Gaza. She’s currently living in Rafah City in Gaza. Due to the war some of her family members have become shaheed, and she has become displaced. She’s looking to leave Gaza through Rafah crossing into Egypt because she’s extremely worried for the safety and wellbeing of her child. She’s nine months pregnant and married. She also wishes her husband to leave as well.

Sisters and brothers unfortunately we have felt a powerlessness and a deep sadness to help our fellow Muslims who are being mercilessly killed. This is one family we can try to help escape the horrors of war. This is one Muslim family we can help live a life of freedom and happiness for the sake of Allah swt. Please if there is anything you can donate even if it’s a dollar please do. If you cannot donate then please share this fundraiser.

**All donations will be sent to my bank account and I will transfer all monies to Western Union for my Arabic tutor to pick up. We are waiting for the western Union to open. If it does not open in time we will consider other viable options that are within accordance of the gofundme terms policy. Feel free to message me for more info.

***Update: my tutor had the baby alhamdulilah. However now she will need an extra $3000 for the baby’s well-being and safety.

*******My tutor and I want to thank all of you for donating. By God’s will and your compassion and generosity my tutor, her husband and child were able to leave Gaza into Egypt! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! This experience has humbled me and given me hope. We are keeping the fundraiser open for anyone who wants to donate to my tutor’s living expenses while she is building a new life in Egypt. Also we are still fundraising to get her brother and parents out of Gaza.
