A proper burial for Nachman Tuvia Ben Moshe Shimon
Our grandfather Nachman Tuvia Ben Moshe Shimon
whom we loved very dearly passed away over two weeks ago.
Since his passing no one has had the chance to sit Shiva in his honor and his body
remains on ice while a court date looms ahead. Our grandfather had a second
marriage to a non Jewish woman who unfortunately has decided to cremate his
body. He has no living will and had no advanced directives put down in writing. He was a traditional man who loved carrying on in his Jewish customs, but our step
grandmother has taken matters into her own hands and wishes to cremate his
body, which he verbally expressed many times to us while alive that cremation was always against his wishes as well as it being against
Jewish law. In order to cover extensive court costs and out of state fees we are asking you to please open your hearts and not let a Jewish
soul go unnoticed. Please help us give our grandfather a fighting chance in court in order to put his body in the right place.
