Last year, our father, Mohamed Jameel Khan, suffered two strokes that caused significant brain damage, leaving him unable to walk, speak in full sentences, or care for himself. The quality of life he endured over the past couple of years is not something he would have ever wanted for himself.

But if there’s one thing to know about him, it’s that he truly lived his life to the fullest. He spoke his mind, worked hard, and played just as hard. While this may have contributed to his health challenges, it was also part of what made him the incredible person we all knew and loved. He helped countless people along his journey, always willing to give—even if it was his last dollar—to someone in need.

For those who had the privilege of knowing him, you know how big his heart was despite his flaws. His kindness and generosity to others left a lasting impact on so many lives.

Our father is no longer suffering, and we are committed to laying him to rest with proper Muslim burial rites. Any contributions to this GoFundMe will go directly to the mosque to assist with funeral costs and will be deeply appreciated.
