Recliner for Colleen Walker with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ann Kinsella and an old friend of mine from Prospect Baptist Church days, Colleen Walker has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. This has metastasised to other areas of her body. She needs a comfortable chair to rest in at home as her current one is broken. Colleen has major abdominal surgery coming up to remove the large Ovarian Tumour and spreading cancer that will render her with great pain and a long recovery period ahead. This means that she won’t be able to get up out of the broken chair afterwards. The treatment she receives will not cure her cancer, but will assist with relief and comfort, so a new chair will make a great deal of difference.
We have completed some research and the chair she needs is $3,000. She has narrowed it down to two – the “Alivio Donatello” or possibly the “Icare Vmotion “from Medimart. They are not only comfortable but raise the legs, tilts back and can lift the person from a seated to standing position. This would be of great help to Colleen, not only as she recovers from the abdominal surgery, but also in the future as her cancer inevitably takes over. Can you please help her in her cancer journey? Will you help Colleen purchase a suitable new recliner chair, and before her abdominal surgery?
Colleen is trusting in Jesus in her cancer journey and looks forward to meeting Him when He decides the time is right to call her Home. Colleen can’t wait to see her mum and other relatives and friends who have gone Home before.
God bless you as you help Colleen with this urgent medical need!
