A room for victimize family in Christmas New year

I am fundraising for A family of five, including two young children aged 7 and 8 yo. They are currently facing homelessness and are in desperate need of shelter. This family has endured significant hardships, having traversed several countries in search of safety and security. Despite having an asylum hearing scheduled for May 2024, their immediate need for stable housing is of utmost importance, every dollar helps.

The family has been victimized by unfortunate circumstances at the Tukwila Riverton Park encampment and is set to be left on the streets starting December 20, 2023. With the winter season upon us, it is imperative to provide them with a secure environment. The children need to attend school, and having a fixed address is essential for them to access necessary services and support.

Our group of neighbors/volunteers has been actively assisting families in tents at the encampment for months. However, due to recent storms, the family's tent at the encampment was flooded and they had to stay there for 5+ days without help from those in charge of the encampment, then they were rescued, and forced to abandon their meager belongings.

The 8-year-old girl has fallen seriously ill, requiring medical attention at the emergency room.

We have identified an opportunity to secure temporary housing for the family in a hotel, allowing them to regain stability and resume their lives. However, we need financial support to cover the associated costs. Your assistance can make a significant difference in their lives, ensuring a safe and warm place for this family during the upcoming Christmas and New Year period.
