A Roost for Rialee
Donation protected
*** UPDATE: With the clubhouse project complete and the initial goal met, we are now collecting donations to help offset the cost of a family rental home in Portland, during Rialee's upcoming bone marrow transplant. Our "BIG GOAL" would be to raise enough cover the cost of housing and alleviate some of the financial pressure on this family (rental alone will be over $10K). We are so grateful to everyone who has donated and anyone who decides to contribute!!! See "Updates" below for details and photos of the clubhouse.***
"A Roost for Rialee" is a project taken on by the Gillott Home Team to build a backyard clubhouse for Rialee Roth. This project is part of their annual "RED DAY" of service.
About RED DAY...
Each year on the second Thursday of May, Keller Williams associates celebrate RED DAY as part of our legacy worth leaving. On this day, all KW offices close for the day, tasks are set aside, and admin, agents, & leaders step out into the community for a day dedicated to serving their community.
This year...
As our team began brainstorming and gathering project ideas for this year, our hearts were guided towards the Roth family. Rialee Roth is a 12-year-old Lebanon student who is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma for a second time and preparing for a stem cell transplant in May. In the spirit of "make-a-wish", our team reached out to Rialee's family to see if there was something our team can provide, that would make this time more enjoyable for her and provide Rialee a "respite", of sorts.
Rialee's request was for a backyard clubhouse/treehouse.
With the family's permission, our team is now in the process of mapping out the details, supplies, and manpower it will take to bring this project to fruition. We are looking for businesses who may want to partner with us by supplying some of the materials needed for this project (donated or at a discount). We've also received offers to donate monetarily to this project, which is why this account was created.
As you can imagine, every bit of help counts! We appreciate your contribution!
Please note...
Any donation received through this page above and beyond what is needed specifically for the project will be donated to the Roth family to offset the cost of their living expense, during Rialee's upcoming bone marrow transplant in Portland.
One project, two "roosts". <3
