A Second Chance at Life – A Mission to Save Others

Donation protected
What started as an early morning prayer walk with a close friend turned into a life-and-death moment I could have never imagined.

Only minutes into our walk, I suddenly felt the need to sit down. Within seconds, my world changed. My friend saw my eyes roll back for just two or three seconds, but in my experience, I was gone for what felt like hours.

I saw a bright light, growing and opening before me. Inside it, vivid images of my life flashed past—relationships, defining moments, and the faces of those I love. I was slipping away, and though my friend was speaking, his voice sounded distant—until he placed a hand on my shoulder and said, "Stay with me."

At that moment, something pulled me back. I was thrust back into my body, upright and alert. My friend—who usually never carried his phone on these walks—had it with him that day, allowing him to immediately call 911. That "coincidence" was no accident.

By the time paramedics arrived, my heart rate had skyrocketed to 280 beats per minute—and it only got worse. Upon arriving at the ER, it climbed to 300 BPM. Despite those numbers, I was still awake—a rare and dangerous reality. There was no choice but to defibrillate me while I was conscious.

The shock felt like a lightning strike and a Mack truck hitting me at full force—but it saved my life.

A Mission to Equip Churches & Ministries with Life-Saving Devices

I survived because someone was there and because the right medical equipment was available in time. But what about the next person? What if this happens in a church, a ministry event, or a community center, where emergency response times could be too long?

That’s why we are raising funds to purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AED devices) to be placed in churches and ministries that may not have the resources to acquire these life-saving tools.

A single AED device can mean the difference between life and death. We want to ensure that no one loses their life simply because the right equipment wasn’t available.

Donate today to help place AED devices in churches and ministries that need them most.

If you know of a church, ministry, or facility that could benefit from having an AED device, please let us know.

Every dollar brings us closer to saving another life.

Together, we can turn my second chance into someone else’s miracle.
