A Second Chance: Help Me Finish School and Find Stability

Hello, my name is Dedra Joiner, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of my life. Earlier this year I moved to New York City to complete my education. I recently lost my long term job unexpectedly, and despite my best efforts to find new work, I’m facing the very real possibility of homelessness. As a student, I was already struggling to make ends meet, but now, I can’t afford the rent, utilities, the cost of my medical supplies I need or even my school fees. I’m at risk of dropping out of school and losing everything I’ve worked so hard for.

I’m asking for help to raise $10,000 to cover my basic expenses so I can continue my studies and avoid being homeless. This would give me the time I need to find stable employment and get back on my feet.

I’m committed to finishing my education. This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but I know that I can't make it through this without some support, and with your support, I can make it through this tough time.
