A Self Taught Software Dev Get Back on Her Feet

I've been a professional software engineer for two years. I switched careers mid-life to provide a better life for myself after years of poverty and disability payments as I've been mentally disabled my entire life.
I've spent years learning to code, nose to the grindstone, building apps to showcase my skills, and writing articles explaining the things I've learned and built.
I landed my first job in mid-2019 only for the pandemic to upend that position in early 2020.
I was able to get unemployment then and in 2021 a colleague offered me a contract to work at his young startup.
Fast forward to July 2022 and the economy has suffered, and tech hiring has slowed and completely stopped. I've had interviews with big tech companies pulled at the last minute, and finding work is still incredibly difficult.
I've drained my savings and am on the verge of homelessness which would be devastating.
I know you don't know me. I get it. I never thought I'd be one of the people who'd come on this site and ask for help from strangers. I wouldn't ever do this if it wasn't absolutely necessary.
So if you can help please do! I and my cat would be forever grateful!
