A Sensory Room for Scoil Bhríde Killeshandra

Hello, my name is Ailish Fay and I am the Principal of Scoil Bhríde Killeshandra. In our school we have 4 mainstream classes and 3 classes for pupils with Autism. Children from Killeshandra and from all over Co. Cavan are enrolled in our three special classes.

Unfortunately, we do not have a sensory room due to lack of space. I have found a company, The Sensory Pod, who can provide us with a high quality, custom built, fully equipped, sensory log cabin. We have space for this on our school grounds so this is a perfect solution.

We know that this room will be such an invaluable resource for all of our pupils, teachers and SNAs.

Together with our wonderful Parents Association, we are embarking on this fundraising journey in an effort to secure this necessary room for our school.
