Help Jayne‘s quality of life with a service dog!
Tax deductible
Dear Friends/Supporters, we humbly ask you to collaborate with Paws For Purpose in our mission to raise funds for a service dog for Jayne.
Following a life-altering accident, Jayne underwent numerous surgeries, procedures, long hospital stays, and continuing painful rehabilitation. Complications have left her battling mobility limitations, and RSD/CRPS (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), autonomic dysfunction, and extensive medical problems including gastroparesis and motility problems.
Despite a successful surgery to help with the severe extent of the gastroparesis allowing her to finally transition off TPN (nutrition received through a central line); Jayne still lives day in day out with severe chronic pain and the host of other associated medical and physical challenges.
After the recent loss of her beloved dog Mitzi (pictured above with Jayne), your kind contribution will help restore the support that only a service dog can offer. Fostering a bond that provides immeasurable assistance and comfort, ultimately greatly enhancing Jayne’s quality of life.
The service dog will be trained on DPT, to help manage severe chronic pain, shadowing, distraction techniques, minor stability to help avoid falls, and be able to accompany her for future procedures, and any further hospitalizations helping to combat the emotional medical trauma that comes along with that.
A service dog requires an enormous monetary investment which covers the cost of the well bred puppy where both parents are extensively tested (genetically and hips/shoulders/eyes/heart etc) to ensure optimal health of offspring, as well as hundreds of hours of intensive training over many many months and of course all of the expenses associated with maintaining the dogs health and wellbeing.
Your donation will go directly to Paws For Purpose.
With heartfelt gratitude, we sincerely thank you for your support. ❤️
