A Small Business Owner’s Plea for Help...

Hi friends,

I’ve never done this before, and to be honest, I’m feeling so embarrassed to even ask for help. But a friend recently reminded me that asking for help is one of the strongest things you can do when you’re struggling.

This past year has been one of the hardest of my life. Between going through a difficult divorce, having to move back home, and adjusting to living on one income in this economy, things have felt completely overwhelming. I’ve been trying so hard to hold everything together, but today I found out my car isn’t safe to drive because of a massive oil leak that will cost $3,600 to fix. On top of that, I’m facing a ton of legal bills from the divorce.

My small business is my heart and soul—it’s my baby, my everything. I pour every ounce of myself and every dime I have into it because it means so much to me. But with slow season upon us, sales have been a struggle, and it’s been so hard to stay afloat. I’m doing everything I can to keep going, but I’m at the point where I need to lean on my community for support, I think.

If you’re able to help in any way, it would mean the absolute world to me. Even the smallest contributions will help me cover these unexpected expenses and start to get back on my feet. I know so many of us are struggling in today’s world, and if you’re not in a position to donate, please don’t feel any pressure—I completely understand. Sharing this with others who might be able to help would still mean so much to me.

Over the past 12 months, you all have shown me such incredible kindness and support when I felt so alone, and I truly can’t thank you enough for that. I don't say this lightly, and I mean this when I say this.....I'm not so sure I'd still be here standing today if it weren't for you guys....my customers, my tribe, my friends.
