Please donate to help with the burden of battling Leukemia

Hello, My name is Charlene Richardson. I am grateful to be able to use this platform to tell my story and perhaps soften your hearts into making a generous donation towards my efforts to care for my family. I am a mother, and like many mothers, we would give our children perfection if we could. I was gratefully blessed with three wonderful children and several grandchildren in whom I adore.

In January of this year, we received heartbreaking news that my son Lafrederick Pettaway was diagnosed with Leukemia/Lymphoma and he and his family immediately moved from Panama, Florida to Mobile, Alabama for him to seek treatment. Since then, there has been countless hospitalizations and many fears and tears from myself-as his mother and always protector-and from his very own family and children.

In May of this year, we received more bad news concerning Lafrederick in which we were informed that he will have to undergo surgery. My sacrifice in this is that Lafrederick will need 24-hour care for at least three months. I am in need of dire assistance either having to take off from work or hiring a caregiver to care for him. I am humbly asking any and everyone to please find it in your heart to donate to not just a stranger in need but please donate for this cause to assist a mother in need who would bear this burden for her child if she could.
