A Son's Tribute to Carl's Passion

Hello, my name is Jordan. I'm here today asking for donations to start up my own business. I started doing autobody and paint work at the age of 8. My father had Legends Body Shop, so in the summer, while on break from school, I would go to work for him. So, all through life, I was in and around the shop. We did restoration work on high-end European automobiles, many of which ended up on the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson auction. My dad was in Hot Rod and Lowrider Magazine numerous times.

Well, about 14 years ago, my father passed away, and I felt like I had lost my passion for doing that kind of work. Since then, I have tried many, many different types of jobs, all of which never came close to giving the satisfaction of what my father and I used to do together. So, to make a long story short, now that I'm at the age where looking for my new passion is no longer an option because my heart and soul belong in a paint booth doing what I love and what I became so very good at doing, thanks to a man that was one of the best to ever do the job.

So to sum it up, I'm trying to reopen Legends Motor Car in memory of my great father, Carl Leon Oyer. Thank you to anyone that finds it in their heart to help make this dream come true for me. All funds donated will be used in the purchasing of a nice building in a prime location. Also the purchasing of new state of the art OSHA approved equipment.
