A Special Call for Help -- JACOB, JACK and JONA
Donation protected
We desperately need funds to send these big, beautiful boys – JACOB, JACK & JONA – to their waiting homes in the U.S. They have been at the Save Korean Dogs sanctuary in South Korea far too long. These sweet survivors of the dog meat trade are gentle giants who are just learning how wonderful life can be, and we now have the opportunity to send all three of them to their new homes!
Some of you may have been following the story of JACOB FINALLY getting the chance to fly. We were disappointed to learn that, despite all of the preparations and work that went into getting him ready, his specially made crate was rejected by the airline and the whole process must start over again.
There are enormous costs to ship a dog this size. But we are determined to make it happen - NOT JUST FOR JACOB, BUT FOR JACK AND JONA TOO.
So, we are asking for YOUR HELP. Each dog must be shipped as cargo, which is the most expensive way to fly. In addition, each must have a professionally custom-made travel crate, truck rental to get them to and from the airport, antibody tests and fees. The cost for each dog will be a bit over $6,500, so we need to raise a total of $20,000 to send all three to their forever homes.
Please donate whatever amount you can to help us achieve this very special goal. We cannot look at them and say, “We couldn’t give you a new life, because it was just too expensive.”
Donations to the Save Korean Dogs USA Foundation’s Flight Angel Fund are tax-deductible for U.S. taxpayers. This fundraiser will be open only until October 17.
