A Splash of Life: The Pink House Project
Donation protected
A group of UMKC students has come together to support Jerry Crowell, a 25 year cancer survivor, with A Splash of Life. It is a non-profit organization funded by donations of food, clothes, and hygiene products for the people of Troost: a historically low income area with high levels of homelessness.
Jerry needs our help to clean up and organize the 114 year old bright pink building, which has endured damage from a neighboring business owner who works tirelessly to shut Jerry down and keep his building on the dangerous buildings list. Not that long ago, his building was set on fire and experienced a lot of damage. Since then, much has been restored, but the work is nowhere near done.
Please help us help Jerry and the people of Kansas City. The idea is strong, we just need to help with the execution!! Thank you for listening and please share this, anything at all helps.
