A Stair Lift for our Saint Nick

Donation protected
Calling on all Nick lovers, ALS haters and good humans in general. Yes, I know rents are sky high, Big Macs are now fine dining and it’s that time of year that everyone has to buy 47 different white elephant gifts for all the Xmas get togethers. Timing be damned though our lovable Grinch, Nick Vigoletti, needs some friend and community help.
This Gofundme is to help fund an Acorn Stairlift for Nick. As you can imagine, as Nick’s ALS has progressed it’s turned his stairs into his own personal Mount Kilimanjaro. Nick is desperately in need of this lift as the task of climbing and descending these stairs on the daily has become a huge burden for both him and his caregivers. If together we are able to fund this Stair Lift it would be a huge quality of life upgrade for him. For those of you that do not know Nick well he has handled his ALS diagnosis with an amazing amount of grace. He deserves this. In the 20 years since his symptoms began I have never once heard him complain about his ALS, though he complains a lot about a lot of other things. Nick wasn’t just dealt a terrible hand with this diagnosis but really an entire terrible hairy body. Jokes aside, to date, Nick has never advocated for any donations for anything for him personally, ever, only to help fund the ALS Association of Sacramento which helps all people in the community with ALS and to help fund research for a cure. This is the first time he’s asking for something personal and it’s because the need is high. 100% of the proceeds are going to purchase and install this stair lift for Nick. Any money over the goal will pay for chair upgrades and additional equipment needs. This is one of my best friends and I love and adore this dude. Any amount of help with this purchase is greatly appreciated by me personally, his family, friends and anyone in the universe that roots for good things to happen to good people. If you donate enough he may even let you ride it.* Please feel free to share this to anyone you think is down to bring on the Big Nick Energy we need to get to meet this goal. Thank you for reading all the way to this point. Please note: The picture below is not necessarily the Acorn stair lift model we are shooting for. IDK. It’s just a screen shot of the lady in a stair lift from Gremlins. Yes Gremlins is a Christmas movie and it felt appropriate.
