A stinky hiker get to Canada
Donation protected
I’m currently hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, a 2,650 mile trail that goes from Mexico-Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington.
I’m 2000 miles in!
One of the leading reasons for hikers to end their hikes short is due to financial reasons.
Hikers save up to hike for a couple months, but during those months most aren’t making any income.
With the high snow year I’ve decided to come back for the Sierra next year. So now, I’m finishing out Washington with roughly 300 miles left. My goal is to make it to Canada but the bank account might make me go home before I get there. Any donation is appreciated to make this dream.
With everything I need on my back, food and transportation to towns to resupply (if I can’t hitchhike) is the only expense I have. I’m living very simply. Donations wouldn’t go to anything but the basic necessity, food. Help feed a hungry hiker!
I eat about 2500 calories a day. For example, a box of granola bars is approximately $4.00, and I eat 6 a day!
