Blown up house rebuild: Ukrainian family relief

Dear friends, until February 24, 2022, our family lived happily in Ukraine, in the Kyiv region, in the small village Blystavytsia.

 

24.02.2022 at 5 am, our nightmare began - russia invaded Ukraine.

 

We were forced to leave everything literally and run away under shelling, able to take only our lives, the dog and two cats. Until this day, we did not believe what happening was possible at all. From Gostomel airfield to our house - 1 km.

 

On 26.02.22 russians blew up our dream, leaving us absolutely broken with 30 000$ in debts without an option to return:

 

- we can't go back;

- we can't repair;

- we can't move on...

 

We are starting a fundraising program to repair the house. As to return home we need to remake the whole roof construction, totally rebuild the second floor with new walls, make repairs and change windows all over the house, fix the general heating system etc...
