In the late 90's, Grandmaster Scott Conrad was at the top of the Korean Karate world.

Owning two Karate studios, a gym, and the competition. The then young man was on track for Olympic stardom. Until a night in May of 1999, where a training incident occurred whilst teaching a student a technique.

Fracture of the femoral head that led into Avascular Necrosis, with 10 complete hip replacements over the next 15 years to boot. Which preceded him losing his left leg due to infection. With all of this, Grandmaster Conrad gets up every week and teaches from a wheelchair! Even though his body may not be top tier, his instruction most certainly is!

Unfortunately his wheelchair is in irreparable condition. We've tried other avenues such as scooters, electric wheelchairs, and walkers, but they leave Master Conrad limited with his mobility.
