Edit to add: On Friday the 29th June Deb surrounded by her loved ones and family sadly lost her battle with Leukaemia Lymphosytosis and Lymphoma . Her husband and their 3 remaining children now need our help and support more than ever.
Hi there, my name is Jan Forrester.
I originally wanted to start this go fund me page for my best friend Debra Matheson who was diagnosed 4 yrs ago with Leukaemia Lymphosytosis and Lymphoma ..that was lying dormant up until January this year. Deb spent the last 5 months in
the oncology ward in P.A Hospital with only 2 wishes -
1. She wanted to marry her partner of 18 years.
2. She wanted to spend her last remaining days in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family.
Deb managed to make her first wish come true, with her will determination and the help of many she married the love of her life Russell on the 23rd of June 2018. Sadly 6 days later Deb passed away in a hospice centre in Ipswich, Qld.
Russell now has the responsibility of raising their 3 remaining children, paying of the bills solo etc. On top of all this he not only has the heartbreaking task of burying his new bride..but also the painstaking funeral costs that ly ahead. All while trying to keep a mortgage and working full time. None of this seems possible for just one man to manage without our help. He needs to be at home with their children, to grieve and overcome the loss of the most important person in their world.
