A third of Pakistan is underwater
Donation protected
Hello Friends
Flooding caused by eight consecutive weeks of rainfall has killed more than 1,100 people and counting in the Pakistani regions of Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab.
I am raising money to send to my cousin who lives in Sindh and is helping locals; your donations will directly support the people affected by these floods.
Anxiety hangs thick in the air as the clouds are still grey and heavy. These floods have wreaked havoc across provinces, swallowing up entire villages, roads, bridges and livestock etc
This means a third of Pakistan is now underwater amid an unprecedented amount of rainfall since June; in one town in the southeastern province of Sindh, about 67 inches fell in one day.
This is due to the planet’s rising temperatures, weather experts say. Higher temperatures mean more water in the air: For every degree of warmer temperature, the air can hold about 4 per cent more water.
I hope I have your trust in helping these people in need.
Jazakallah in advanced
