Life After...

Hi, my name is Gregory and I'm fundraising for Alexandria Burks (24-year-old). On the morning of January 10, 2023, Alexandria was involved in an accident on the I-40 Bridge traveling from Arkansas to Tennessee. In her vehicle were her 2 sons; Joshua 2-year-old and Isiah 8 months, and her sister. First responders arrived at the scene and both children were taken to the local hospital for emergency care. While in route, 8-month-old Isiah's heart failed twice. Upon his arrival, he was still none responsive. Isiah was placed on a ventilator. He suffered brain damage and heart failure due to extensive wait time without oxygen. 8-month-old Isiah suffered a loss of life on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, resulting from the tragic I-40 accident.
Joshua (2 years old) is also experiencing brain injury. Joshua currently does not have mobility of his left side and functioning vision from his left eye. He was also placed on a ventilator for several days after his arrival. Physicians are very optimistic about Joshua's recovery. He will need a minimum of 7 weeks of physical and speech therapy, and he and his mom will relocate to Little Rock, AR to complete therapy.
Mom (Alexandria Burks) has suffered two breaks in her left arm, bruises to her face, along with mental trauma, related to the travesty of the accident. Alexandria will have to undergo surgery and mental therapy. During the accident, they lost her vehicle and many of their possessions.
Alexandria is a single mom of two. She attends Concorde Career Institute and maintains full time employment. She has missed several days and weeks to come from work while mounting expenses for funeral costs, medical bills, and basic everyday needs. The funds donated will go towards funeral costs, medical bills, and the replacement of her vehicle.
In advance, we would like to say thank you for your support, prayers, and donations.
