Please give to help a tragedy end in peace

Hello, my name is Kirsten and I am raising money for my only sister. Her husband had a heart surgery about a year ago in March that was supposed to be a one day stay in the hospital. He took a turn for the worse and was in ICU for months. He finally was released to rehab in June and was doing well in his recovery. He was released to assisted living in October with the goal of a month or so before he returned home. My sister was a second wife to him, about 20 years his junior. The picture above is their wedding dinner in 2017. Unfortunately, the adult children, all around her age, weren’t too happy about their relationship and these feelings came to a head during his illness. She was pushed out of his life by them about 2 weeks into assisted living by false allegations and within 2 weeks of her not being allowed contact with him, he was back in ICU. I believe it was caused by a broken heart. He died December 1st and my sister hadn’t seen him in a month and was not allowed to say goodbye or even see his body for over a week at the funeral home. She was legal next of kin and so released the body and planned the funeral. She was treated awfully by the family and they continue to drag her through false allegations during probate. They left her with no job, no income and no money for legal fees. Her and her husband loved each other dearly and this travesty is truly heartbreaking. She needs legal funds to at least fight these false allegations and be allowed what was legally left to her in the will so that this process can come to a close and she can be allowed to properly grieve her loss in peace. Our family has pitched in as much as possible, but we are at a point that we need help and we kindly ask you to donate to her cause.
