Help Others Breathe Easy: Support COPD Research.
Ever since I was a lad, my dad was one of the most athletic people I know. An ex boxer, rugby player and swimmer. Over the last few years I've seen his health deteriorate due to COPD emphysema. The man that would give anything to be able to get into a pool, or on a pitch, now loses his breath simply standing up.
Although it hurts me to see him like this, there are other people that can be helped and I would love it if you could support, not only me in my 87 mile walk, but those that suffer with COPD and other lung conditions. It would mean so much to me, so thank you in advance!
**Update** Sadly Roger, (my dad), passed peacefully on 01/08/24.
If you would like to join me in making a difference, I'm raising money in aid of Asthma and Lung UK and every donation will help. I'll be walking 87 miles on a treadmill in under 30 hours. That's the equivellant from Stourport-On-Severn's branch of Lifestyle Fitness to Newbury Lifestyle Fitness.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Asthma and Lung UK: At Asthma + Lung UK, we believe that every breath matters - and that the right to breathe freely applies to everybody, regardless of income, age, ethnicity, gender, or background.
These funds will go towards research and helping others like my father.
