Beyond her years Anijah is, and beyond inspirational she shall always be! The quotes would be endless expressions of this nine year olds resiliency, her selflessness, and pure beauty! To know her is a blessing. To be in her presence is a gift. To feel the warmth of the light that shines within her is majestic, and to love her is to be ignited on end. Bone Cancer (Osteosarcoma) cannot dim her light nor take a way from the calling placed upon her, but with great hopes we aim to alleviate the burdens that it brings. Academically, she is strong and has set out to be smarter than her teachers from the beginning. Athletically she is prominent as she has desired to run even as she learned to walk. With aspirations to run as though her older sister did, she trained alongside many proving to herself and to others that she is a dynamic force to be reckoned with. No matter the event, whether a 4x1, open 400m, or even an attempt at the hurdles; Anijah ran every event with passion and purpose. Through music she expresses herself as her love for music is one that she leans on to teach, to learn, and to further grow. The piano, and most recently the ukulele are no match against her endeavors to master them. As her pursual of the arts continued, her journey in dance caused many to gather as she performed a recital of Arabian Nights despite the pain that would soon grow to aim to keep her up at night. Twenty nine weeks of Chemotherapy is a mighty long battle, but one that shall be won. Please aide our family in helping to ensure that while we fight alongside our Little Warrior, we can do so with intentionality!
