A Week by the Sea
Donation protected
In these days of quiet desperation, where the world often feels like a vast, indifferent expanse, I turn to you with a request born from the depths of my heart. My wife, Patricia, at 87 years old, has been a warrior against her health, living with me within the confines of a nursing home. We dream of an escape, just for a week, to Kiama, NSW, Australia. There, I imagine the sea breeze might soothe her pained breaths, and the endless blue might offer us both a moment of peace, a brief respite where she can feel the sun on her skin, not just through a window.
The harsh reality is that we lack the funds for this modest journey. I come to you not with grand illusions, but with a humble plea for assistance in covering the costs of our travel and accommodation. Each small donation would make it possible for Patricia to leave her room, to feel the sand under her toes, even if for a brief moment.
