A Week of Heartbreak: Unexpected Loss and Cancer

When it rains, it pours: Help for a family facing tragedy and illness
In the span of just one week, our family has been hit with two devastating blows:
October 12th: My father tragically lost his life in an accident. My Dad was doing his daily morning chores on his 8ft brush hog lawn mower. He hit a stump with his back wheel, which flung him off and then he got caught by the mower. He was airlifted to the nearest trauma center but sadly passed away in the emergency room as the medical team was unable to stop the external bleeding.
October 4th: My mother was diagnosed with large diffuse B-cell lymphoma in her chest and lymph nodes. While we're fortunate that this type of cancer is often responsive to treatment, she faces a challenging journey ahead with 6 months of chemotherapy. She started chemotherapy on October 21st.
How You Can Help
These back-to-back crises have stretched our resources thin. Your support would be immensely appreciated and will go towards:
- Funeral costs and arrangements for my father
- Travel expenses for family members who were not able to afford to fly out to MO
- Medical bills and hospital stays
- Chemotherapy medical costs for my mother
- Chemotherapy-related supplies
- Travel expenses for my mother's specialist appointments
- Covering bills and living expenses while my mother is unable to work during treatment
- Unforeseen medical and care-related expenses
- Additional family support needs as they arise
A Note of Gratitude
We are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, whether it's a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts. Your kindness means the world to us during this difficult time.
If you have any questions or would like to reach out, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Family Background
My parents have been separated for some time, living in different states. My dad lived in Missouri, where the tragic accident occurred, while my mom lives in California, now facing her battle with lymphoma.
