My name is Karen Navarro. I have two beautiful, smart, amazing kids whom were both born with Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, Bilateral clubbed feet and neurogenic bladder among other diagnoses. Junior is 17 and has had a total of 73 surgeries. Adryana is 10 and has had 19 surgeries. They have spent most of their lives in the hospital. Anyone who knows us will know how difficult it is for our family to ask for help. We have always done fundraisers for others as we have taught our kids to give to those in need. Now we find ourselves in the position of needing help as it is very difficult to take the kids to their appointments, school, therapies or just for a ride in general because of them both being in wheelchairs, This would be the greatest miracle for us. Especially for Adryana as she does not walk at all and Paul Sr has a heart condition along with many other health challenges and cannot lift her. I use to be able to but since a recent car accident I hurt my arm and it is very difficult to get her in the car, We have dropped her a number of times and it is not only painful for her but humiliating. the last time we took her to the mall we dropped her and she was on the floor about 10 minutes until we figured out how to get her in. while Junior can walk he has problems with his legs and feet and isn't always ambulatory. He will be starting college in September and we need to be able to get him back and forth from school. We thank you in advance for any help you can give. We know it is an impossible amount at such a difficult time but we are in desperate need for our kids.
