A Widow's Promise: Honoring Lost Riders
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cynthia. I am a 50 + year old widow whose life changed for the rest of it when my husband tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on May 10th, 2024. Losing him was and continues to be devastating; everyday. His memory and knowing his passion for riding though I protested plenty, has inspired me to turn the portion of my heartbreak that can still function into purpose.
I am building A Rider’s Promise, LLC, a mission-driven business dedicated to promoting motorcycle safety awareness, honoring lost riders, and supporting their families and communities.
Our motto, “Make the Promise. Wear the Promise. Keep Riders Alive,” represents a powerful call to action: encouraging riders to prioritize safety, families to cherish their loved ones, and communities to support this vital cause.
What A Rider’s Promise Will Offer
Doula Services for Grieving Families:
Losing a loved one is a journey no one should walk alone. A Rider’s Promise will provide compassionate doula services to families coping with the loss of a rider. From emotional support to logistical guidance during memorial preparations, we’ll stand beside grieving families to help them navigate one of life’s most difficult times with care and understanding.
Event Planning for Memorials and Advocacy Events:
Whether it’s a tribute to a lost loved one or an event to advocate for safer riding practices, A Rider’s Promise will help families and communities organize meaningful gatherings that honor the past while advocating for a safer future.
Annual Memorial Events and Merchandise for Awareness:
Our 1st Annual A Rider’s Promise Memorial Event will take place on May 10, 2025, commemorating riders lost on the road and uniting families and supporters to champion safety. Through this and future events, we’ll sell unique merchandise like T-shirts, plaques, and keepsakes that display the "Promise" and remind everyone of the promise: to keep riders safe and their memories alive.
How You Can Help
