A Year in Germany Featuring Autumn

I was accepted this year into the Rotary's year long youth exchange and was assigned to Germany! On the Rotary exchange, I will be attending high school in Germany, so it will be like another senior year for me.  In Germany, I will stay with three host families and have the experience of a lifetime. 
When looking into the abyss of what I seek to do with the rest of my life, sustainable studies catch my interest, to contribute to a cause that strives toward infinite energy and the inevitable protection of nature would be an honor. I desire to major in Environmental Policy & Decision Making while taking a course of study prerequisite to engineering; I also hope to minor in German to work with companies worldwide seeking sustainable energy. Currently, Germany is one of the leading countries in sustainability and has created numerous policies promoting environmentally sustainable growth. Learning the German language would be a tremendous help in preparing me to learn from, and work with, such a forward looking country.

This program is expensive, but I will not let financial barriers keep me from this tremendous experience.  I hope you consider donating to A Year in Germany Featuring Autumn and help me fulfill my future goals of saving our planet.
