A Youth Soccer Club In Need Of A Field

Hi my name is Pierre Celestin. I am the founder and president of Passion Athletic Club LLC which is fully registered in the state of New Jersey with an outreach program in Haiti. I am fundraising in order to purchase an opened piece of land to turn into a soccer field for the youth soccer academy in Arcahaie, Haiti. We have been serving that community since July 2017 and have relocated three times already because we do not have a place of our own, a field that we can call home. We currently have 153 registered children, boys and girls, ages 5 to 17. These young people see soccer as the only opportunity to make something of themselves due to continuous political unrest in Haiti. We use soccer as a way to shape them into positive and productive citizens and to nourish their talents in order to reach their highest potential. We are at the end of the first year of a two-year lease and looking to start the process of acquiring our own space. We actually have the option to purchase the current space at the end of the lease which is why we are starting this fundraiser. Your support is crucial as the club has no sponsors nor specific donors. For the past seven years, aside from small donations from family and friends, I had to mostly rely on personal funds in order to keep program alive. Let's keep these kids smiling for they do not have much to smile about in a country that has been literally destroyed.
