Oscar's Fight against Esophageal Cancer

Update on Oscar recovery, The cancer has returned. =(
Oscar is receiving chemo once a week now for an indefinite period of time. This chemo treatment makes him extremely tired. He will be wearing a heart monitor for the next 3 weeks. Oscar had surgery in December for a cardiac tamponade which has since returned. They are also currently monitoring the fluid level around his heart. Please keep him in your prayers and anything will help in this time of fighting.
End of March 2014 is when the worst news anyone could get, Oscar (Father, Son, uncle, Brother, Husband, Grandfather) the survivor of cancer when he was a baby, 2 kidney transplants as an adult, at age 42 we learned he has stage IV Esophageal cancer. As we shed tears as a family, we have faith he will get through this one, and fight off this beast. Oscar is self employed, a dad of 4 with 16 year old twin daughters (my sisters), a wife and the household to hold down. Not only is this a very emotional time, it also is financially difficult. Oscar the go-getter, the guy that is there for anyone who needs it and does not stop and gives his best at everything he does, the one who took me and my siblings in and has been the father figure we needed and loved. I would like to ask you to join me in the support for his fight; anything to reduce the stress is very good in this time, as no one plans to get this awful sickness and being self-employed there are not many options available. Anything will help.
I believe in the power of prayer, we serve an awesome God. Please keep us in your prayers and thank you for your support! Time to give it forward to a man who has given so much! We LOVE you Oscar and we are all in this fight with you!!!!
