A1C Mackenzie Wilson (9-05-2002 - 6-24-2022)

It is with great honor that my friend Jessica has finally asked me to help her. My name is Michelle and I'm raising funds to support Jessica who is looking into and pursuing the answers to why her 19-year-old daughter, A1C Mackenzie Wilson, was killed during Operation Airforce in June 2022.

Military wrongful death occurs when a service member dies as a result of negligence, misconduct, or other wrongful acts committed by someone in the military or government. The wrongful death of Mackenzie has left Jessica with innumerable financial burdens (legal, medical, and funeral costs) while she searches for answers to why Mackenzie was killed. As an ROTC cadet, Mackenzie was not eligible for SGLI support (Military life insurance) but was dedicated to becoming an Air Force officer in both high school and college, where she was studying molecular biology and biochemistry.

Thank you for your support and generosity. Whatever you can give is truly appreciated. Jessica has tried for the last nine months to not ask for help, but she has finally realized she has no other choice. She is dealing with the aftermath, has kept up the pursuit for answers, advocating for others through Save Our Service Members, all while still being available for her twin 18-year-olds who graduated high school a month before their older sister's death. Although she knows about this request for funds, she is a proud, stubborn, single mother who is finally accepting help and support from others. Please and thank you.
