A21 Across America
Bicycling for freedom across the United States of America.
THE MISSION
2015: The Journey Continues #WhatExtent
I just completed a symbolic 3,000 mile, 21 day bicycle ride across America in July 2014.
It was a huge success!
In the 3 short months of our A21 Across America campaign, we were already able to garner a great deal of support from our local community in the San Francisco Bay Area, including over 2,000 followers on Facebook, and together we raised over $16,000 in the fight to end human trafficking and sex slavery.
But the mission isn't over.
I'm now preparing for the next leg of the mission: to compete in the Race Across America (RAAM) in 2015.
At 24 years old, I will be one of the youngest competitors on the road in a field of international athletes. And with all of the experience my team and I have acquired, in addition to our already well-established campaign, we are in a great position to bring success, not only to our campaign, but also to our partners.
RAAM is considered the world's toughest endurance bicycle race. Please learn more about the Race Across America (RAAM) on their website: http://www.raceacrossamerica.org/.
Please consider linking arms with my efforts as a sponsor to end modern day slavery––to bring hope & freedom to our world.
It takes teamwork to make the dream work.
Thank you for your time & consideration!
2014: The Journey Begins
PART 1 - Bicycling Across California, 450 miles
On Memorial Weekend (May 24-26, 2014), Justin Too bicycled across California from the Silicon Valley to Costa Mesa (The A21 Campaign's U.S. headquarters) in a 450 mile, 35 hour non-stop journey to raise funds and awareness for the abolition of modern day slavery.
PART 2 - Bicycling Across America, 3000 miles
On July 4th, 2014, Justin Too and his A21 Across America Team traveled across the United States of America in a symbolic 3,000 mile, 21-day expedition from Costa Mesa, California to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. in order to raise funds and awareness for the abolition of modern day slavery.
THE PURPOSE –
THIS IS WHY: There are more slaves in the world today than at any other point in human history, with an estimated 27 million in bondage across the globe. Men, women, and children are being exploited for manual and sexual labor against their will.
We need to join together to put an end to injustice in the 21st century. Together, we can end modern day slavery.
FACT #1: Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings, mainly for the purposes of forced labor and sex trafficking. As the world's fastest growing criminal industry, it affects every nation across the globe. Every thirty seconds, someone is forced into this type of bondage"”modern slavery.
