HEARING AIDS
Donation protected
"DEADLINE IS JAN 1" God bless friends and family, I have thought about starting a campaign for a while to get hearing aids but I hesitated. This time I am seeing the urgent need to do this. Since I was child I struggled with hearing problems (it runs in the family). It has affected me in many ways until now. I currently work at a school and after school program and I have difficulties hearing all around.
After going for a hearing test today I got my results which has a negative result; I am in need of hearing aids for both ears. They cost $2770 and unfortunatley they don't have finance options, insurance doesn't cover, and I don't have the funds. I would really appreciate if you can donate any amount you wish and can.
HERE IS A LIST OF HOW THIS AFFECTS ME:
-I have experience people complain or make jokes about how loud the TV is.
-I often find myself asking people to repeat themselves.
-I rely on someone close to you to repeat what others say. I may even get nervous when that person isn't around to help.
-I often have trouble understanding the person at the other end of the phone. Answering the phone may be frustrating.
-I find yourself participating less in conversations, even with family and friends.
-I strain to study people's faces as they're talking so I can fill in the gaps by reading their expressions or lips.
-I get irritated with people when I can't understand what they're saying. My past depression play a part in this.
Donate and help spread the word. Thank you very much!
