Masks for the Homeless
Donation protected
Hemmer Design + Sew Valley are partnering on an initiative to produce urban grade COVID-19 masks here in Cincinnati. Please see the attached images for the masks we are manufacturing. These masks are made with two layers of a tightly woven 100% cotton material. These masks are able to be washed and worn repeatedly.
We are looking for approximately $10k to get 1500 masks produced for the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless. This would enable us to purchase the materials and cover costs associated with paying the staff to produce and distribute this product.
Our mission is to provide a high quality protective product for the general public while also putting people back to work and investing in our local manufacturing ecosystem. We are finding that there is great interest for this type of product here in the greater Cincinnati area - and the need is only going to grow. We just need help providing protection to the most vulnerable in our community.
