Jana and Josh - House Fire Fund

Hi, we are Tim and Linda, parents of Jana, our daughter. We are fundraising for her because she and Josh were just the victims of a fire at their house that has left them homeless at this time.

On April 4 they woke to smoke in their house. They called the fire dept and they saw an orange glow in their electrical breaker box.

The power was cut and an electrician was called. He came out and found a number of issues... some things were fixed and he left.

They thought everything was ok.

The next day while Jana was at work, Josh called her saying there's smoke in the house I'm calling the fire dept.

They came out and discovered that the furnace was heating up even though power had been shut off to it.

They cut power to the whole house, but a fire started in the attic.

Water from their hoses poured down inside, dowsing one room and covering the floors in most of the house.

Most of their belongings were damaged.

They now have to move all of their belongings out to a storage facility while the house is getting cleaned up. There is no definitive time for how long this will take.

We don't know if they will be moving back in or need to find a different house to live in.
