Patrick's fund for Family Resource Network
Tax deductible
Hello! My name is Pat, and I am currently cycling from Atlantic Highlands, NJ to Key West FL, and working to raise money for the Family Resource Network of NJ. After many months of searching for the right nonprofit, I came across the Family Resource Network and knew it was the right cause to support. I wanted to know that I would be helping to positively impact the communities around me. Under the Umbrella of the Family Resource Network is Autism Family Services of New Jersey, Caregivers of New Jersey, and Epilepsy Services of New Jersey. These causes mean the most to me for many reasons. My mother passed away from complications caused by an epileptic seizure on November of 2015 when I was 12, which has greatly affected my own life and the life of those around me. ESNJ offers medication assistance programs to help increase access to these necessary medicines. They also work to seizure recognition and first aid training to school-aged youth, school nurses, school personnel, and first responders. As a young man, I wasn’t always as supportive and as understating as I am today, but as I have grown, I have come to meet many remarkable and beautiful people affected by autism, and know many families who are affected by their loved ones disability. I understand that financially, raising a child with autism can cost staggering amounts of time, money, and patience, and by raising money to support Autism Services of NJ, I can only hope to alleviate some of the financial burden that families are faced with, and help to improve the quality of life for individuals and families alike. You can find information on their programs @https://www.familyresourcenetwork.org Thank you for taking the time to read this, and with your help, I do believe we can make a change. Stay epic.
