Home-bound

Hello my name is Cecil Adams and I am Home-bound. I am a 73 year old retired Navy Veteran at 80% disabled.

I am the 106 person with the rare CRMP5 neuropathy phenotype. This a painful axonal asymmetric polyradiculoneuropathy.

I am wheelchair bound and need a Van with a wheelchair lift. I am submitting an application for an automobile with the Department of Veterans Affairs. If approved, they will provide $25,000.

We are working with Mobility Works, that specializes in the sale of wheelchair accessible vehicles. To purchase a certified preowned wheelchair accessible van, the average cost is between $45,000 and $60,000.

The funds will allow me to purchase the wheelchair accessible van and I can leave the house and be driven by my caregiver to finally view the outdoors, eat out, go to the river, parks, and shopping.
