WPA Gold Star Game

In 2018 the Western PA Gold Star Game was created to honor local military heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice and their families. This game consists of 10 players from the 14 teams selected within the Western Pennsylvania Region to represent our Fallen Heroes. These Fallen Heroes died during active duty in the US Military. Each player will be announced by the name of the Fallen Hero he represents. When a play is made, the present-day athlete's name will not be referenced; instead, the name of the hero he represents will be heard. Keeping our Heroes Never Forgotten.

This year we will honor 140 Fallen Heroes throughout Western Pennsylvania
