Zach Diaz Medical Expense

Hey Guys, 

This is Breana Diaz, Zach's older sister. I am raising money on behalf of my parents to help with Zach's medical expenses for the surgeries he's having. 
Last Spring, Zach Diaz began feeling ill. His illness continually intensified over the next six weeks. Over Father's Day Weekend, Zach was admitted to the emergency room at the University of Chicago where he began the beginning of an intense battle. Discharged from the hospital Zach returned to the Quad Cities in hopes of feeling better, but things only grew worse. Admitted to Genesis Medical Center, Zach would spend the next few weeks being prodded and tested in hope of finding out what was ailing him. After no avail, Zach was rushed to Univesity of Iowa Medical Center and admitted. He would spend a month undergoing treatments in many different forms, hoping one would be the solution. Zach was discharged from the University of Iowa only to be readmitted a few days later. After spending another month in Iowa City, Zach was taken to the Mayo Clinic. The Mayo Clinic diagnosed Zachary with one of the most severe forms of Ulcerative Colitis they had ever seen. In addition, Zach had begun to grow a serious fungal infection in his lungs in reaction to the exploratory medical treatments he had received. The Mayo Clinic performed an emergency surgery, that included the removal of a major organ. After six extended hospital stays,  a lost job,  many prayers and a long nine months Zach underwent his second of three surgeries on February 3rd, 2017 in Rochester, MN. Zach is currently in recovery at the Mayo Clinic. Please spread the word and help Zach fight this horrible auto-immune disease.
