Love for Mark & Shelly and Family

You are receiving this message because you have been one of the many fortunate people that has crossed paths with the extraordinary Mark Simpson. Mark has been a dear friend from the very beginning of when I moved to Seattle in 1992 and I know that all of you also know him as possibly the nicest person you will ever meet. There are too many amazing stories to mention here but I know that he has touched your life in a meaningful way and so I want to make sure you are included in our effort to support Mark and his family at this time.

In the last couple of weeks Mark has been going through a variety of medical tests and was recently diagnosed with cancer. He is currently working with a fantastic team of medical professionals in Sequim WA to begin his treatments soon and Shelly is there every step of the way to love and support Mark through the process. Mark is a warrior and a fighter and he has already let me know that he is going to beat this!

The main focus for Mark right now is his health and his treatments and this has forced him to take medical leave and go on disability. He is grateful to have this benefit but over time it will be difficult to handle the medical expenses and support the family as he progresses through the coming weeks.

If you know Mark and Shelly, they won't ask people for financial support, humbly so they trust that God will provide and I believe He will as well!

If we as a community can be part of the answer to supporting them I know it would help their family tremendously and allow Mark and Shelly to focus on his health which is what matters most.

And most importantly you likely already know that Mark loves Jesus. He has inspired me and will continue to inspire me and countless others in his walk with God. Please keep Mark, Shelly and their whole family in your prayers, Mark feels that love from everyone and so appreciates it.
