Support The Gonzalez Family

The Gonzalez family has been devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of their beloved Efren. Efren has been a member of the Santa Monica community for several decades and all three kids attended Santa Monica public schools. Matteo (10) is currently is in the 5th grade at Edison Elementary and both Diego (26) and Marisol (28) started off at Will Rogers and continued on to JAMS and SAMOHI. Over the years Efren has touched many lives through his relationships in the community, his landscaping business and throughout his large extended family.

Efren had a sparkle in his eye that showed his sweet spirit , kind nature and he will truly be missed. The family is now faced with decisions and insurmountable unknowns that they were not prepared for. The costs associated with a funeral and burial are overwhelming as well as taking care of the day to day operations while figuring out how to continue to operate the business. Additionally, it would be an amazing tribute to Efren to be able to set up an education fund for Matteo's future, Efren was so proud and honored to be able to put Marisol through school at LMU.
