Hello everyone. This here is my daughter Nevaeh Skye Quarantillo. Back July 19th 2023, Nevaeh being a 11 year old girl riding her bike with her cousin. As Nevaeh thought in her mind she would have enough time to cross a residential workzone road, her looking the whole time thinking she would make it, never knowing it would be her very last day to be herself again. As she almost made it across, the girl who purposely sped up instead of braking swerved right into Nevaeh. Nevaeh was on the hood of the unregistered nor insured car until the car reached the curb and Vaeh slid off the car. As the car jumped the curb and got stopped by the tree, it landed directly on top of Nevaeh. Crushing and pinned her down for 30 minutes. Causing Nevaehs little heart to stop. Caused Nevaehs brain to go without oxygen for 8 to 12 minutes. On top Vaeh suffered dangerous 3rd degree burns on majority of her back, her whole neck and majority the back of her head. Nevaeh fought so hard at oishie children's hospital in Buffalo From July 19th 2023 to May 16th 2024 Nevaeh spent at children's hospital. May 16th, Nevaeh got transferred exactly 301 miles away from home. . She's in a facility for her rehab attention and she's exactly 4 and 1/2 hours away. Her father and I literally drive out every single week to be with her. On top of her father trying to keep his job going. But they can only be understanding for so long. Prior to Greg's job he had a long term job that he was with for almost 10 years. And he got fired over Nevaehs situation. Back in November 2023 our truck that we both worked so hard for got ripped away from us in a freak accident. Completely totaled. With us being in panick mode we had no choice but use Nevaehs previous fundraiser money to hurry and get another vehicle so we can be with Nevaeh. So with that being said we had nothing but problems ever since with this van. On new years eve, her father and I drove out to Albany to spend a few hours with our firstborn. Because she should be home counting down with us all. So on our way home from visiting Nevaeh halfway our Van breaks down. Had us stranded. I thank God that we didn't have her three little brothers with us. Our van is still currently broke down 2 and half aways away from home. We were supposed to start our training with Nevaeh hands on so it would be a step forward of her coming home. And that's another issue we have. We need a roomy place for Nevaeh to come home too. As her accident literally happened six houses down from us and the house is way to small for her care. So with the struggles with our car and everything else I decided to try this go fund me. Never in my life would I have thought it would be like this. We just want everything to fall into place and feel happy again. Nevaeh has a journey page on Facebook. It's called Nevaehs Prayer Book.
