Eric Rood
Donation protected
On the morning of Saturday November 21st, 2015: Eric Rood (Aka: “Rood”) had an incident that impaired his ability to properly perform the exchange of oxygen to his brain. At the time of the incident, thankfully, there were two of his closest friends there, which urgently rushed him to the emergency department to receive urgent medical treatment. Rood is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU), receiving medical treatment from an excellent medical staff.
I am sure we are all well aware of the astronomical medical expenses that accrue from even a regular doctor visit from a bump or scratch. Since Rood is receiving continuous medical treatment, the medical expenses continuously rise as well. Within the next month, we will all prepare to get presents for our loved ones and try to get the best deals from the Black Friday madness. The upcoming holidays should be a time to embrace our appreciation for our loved ones and to give thanks for what we have, and to help those that are in need. As friends and family of Rood’s, let us ease the burden for Rood and his family through this difficult time, so they may focus more on what is most important, which is Rood’s recovery.
A fundraiser has been setup in the efforts to give support through this difficult time for Rood and his family. All of us are on different budgets, which is why any donation, big or small, is immensely appreciated. Giving to others is not always in the form of financial support, which is why your thoughts and prayers through this time is valued equally. Have a happy holiday season, and remember to give thanks for all that we have, for we never know when our time of need may come.
