Dear supporters,
I'm Sireen Abu Ramadan, 30 years old, with a previously happy and stable life until October 7th. I held a top position in financial and banking sciences after graduating from university. I used to work in managing an expert dental center in Al Remal neighborhood. However, when the attacks on Al Shifa Hospital began, my family and I were forced to flee our home to khanyonis in search of safety and basic necessities like shelter, food, water, medicine, and baby formula. Accompanied by my sister Sally, her husband Mohammed, and their three daughters, Samar (6 years old), Sila (4 years old), and Soha (6 months old), born at the onset of the war, we lost our homes, my sister's home, and my workplace, an exclusive Mercedes car repair shop owned by her husband. We are flee 5 time till now under bombing.
The ongoing war in Gaza has left my family with nothing there. We're currently suffering in tent in Der elbalah, where bombings threaten invasion by the Israeli army every minute. My parents suffer from chronic illnesses, and we can barely afford their minimal treatment.
My sister's young children have suffered from several diseases in the digestive and respiratory systems, as well as skin diseases. This is a picture of baby Suha, who is ten months old. The skin disease appeared as burns all over her small body. There is no treatment for these diseases in Gaza.
And her sisters Samar and Sila were
infected with this dangerous skin disease.
The reason for the emergence of serious skin diseases in children is water pollution, poor sanitation, overcrowding and biting insects. As for digestive diseases, they are due to eating unhealthy food that has been canned for months and may sometimes be expired, which causes poisoning for adults and children. Also, cooking food in unhealthy ways using plastic bags and cardboard leads to respiratory diseases, as my mother and little Sila have been afflicted with asthma.
Thus, we're urgently seeking to leave Gaza to ensure their safety and access to necessary medical care. Your generous contribution will enable us to secure transportation, temporary shelter, and essential supplies for our journey to safety. We need your help to raise $50,000 to cross Rafah towards Egypt and rest amount for life usual expenses for at least 5 months in Egypt untill we obtaining jobs. Coordination involves paying $5,000 per adult and 2500$ per child. With a family of five adults and three children, your support is crucial to saving our lives from this genocide. Thank you for reading, and we hope for your response and support in rescuing us from this humanitarian crisis.
With gratitude,
Sireen
